Stoke Fleming: is a traditional but active coastal village overlooking Start Bay. It's a 5 min. stroll to the Green Dragon pub (www.green-dragon-pub.co.uk) and the Brill Place restaurant. The village post office has fresh organic bread daily (2 mins walk). There is also a petrol garage with basic supplies on the outskirts of the village. Dartmouth: is just a 2 mile drive. It is a picturesque deepwater port at the mouth of the River Dart, renowned for sailing. The ancient, narrow streets house boutique shops, art galleries & delicatessens. A cobbled market place features stalls and Farmers markets supplying local produce - used by Dartmouth's gourmet restaurants, pubs & cafes. Dartmouth has become very fashionable over the last few years & there is always something going (www.discoverdartmouth.com)
